I burned my arm on the wood stove, so I ran and grabbed the lavender oil. It was covered with soot, but I put the lavender on anyway. There was NEVER any pain so I thought it couldn't be that bad. When I wiped off the black soot, the burn was about 2 inches by 1 3/4 inches. I was amazed. It never blistered. I kept the lavender oil on about every 15 minutes for an hour or so and was able to take a hot bath that night with very little discomfort. If I would have had Lavenderm Mist I would have used that as it replenishes the skin's moisture and stops the burning. We have used it on the roof of the mouth when burning it on hot pizza. Everyone needs these in their kitchen and purse!
