Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
I accidentally poured boiling water on my hand (from the knuckle on my thumb to my wrist) and after I rinsed it with cool water I poured 5 or 6 drops of Lavender on it. The pain went away immediately but the area was still really red. I put 3 more drops of Lavender on the area before bed and the next day, there was no burn, no blister, no red area - nothing. It was my first experience with an oil and it made a lasting impression.
The thing that really impressed me, though, was that about an hour after this burn I burned my forearm (I was doing a lot of baking that day and trying to do things in a hurry!) and wanted to test the oil. So on that burn I put only ONE drop of Lavender on it after rinsing it in cool water. That burn took about 3 weeks to heal. So now I know how effective Lavender can be for burns!
