E Coli results with Oregano and Helichrysum

In August 2005, I did a successful home treatment for gall stones. However, a severe pain developed in my lower abdomen and my husband eventually took me to the hospital. After two days of waiting for tests, I was told I had E coli in the blood. After two more days of waiting, I asked to go home and be given the antibiotic to take orally.

I went to a homeopath and was given two medications, which I thought were for any remaining gall stones and the E coli. I told him I use Young Living Essential Oils and asked if I could use oregano and helichrysum instead of the antibiotic. He said they would work but did not tell me to do it or to stop the antibiotic.

I stopped the anitbiotic that day and instead, took three drops of oregano twice a day and 3 drops of helichrysum once a day in capsules for two weeks. I was very sick for over a week but fine when I next went to the homeopath after two weeks. He then told me both medications had been for the gall stones. He told me that by treating the E coli naturally, I would be immune to it for the rest of my life. Had I continued to take the antibiolic, I could have had liver damage.
