Lavender helped my steam burn

I lifted the lid off of a hot steaming pot with handles on the sides instead of the top using one hand where I slid it to the side of the pot. Result: hot, hot steam came out of the side where it got my fingers. It was very painful so I quickly put running cold water on my fingers. I thought of lavender oil so I quickly covered my three fingers with this oil. I wasn't thinking how much to put on the burn because of the pain, but I just covered them well.

It hurt for a few hours so I put more lavender oil on my fingers again and again before I went to bed. Next morning, there was not one sign of burn on my fingers. I touched and rubbed my fingers, I could not believe what the oil did. It was incredible. It should have been red and white with blisters, but could not find any trace of it. Lavender oil heals!!
