I just love this stuff. I used it the 1st time to gently get acrylic paint easily off the side of my sons face, full strenght on cotton ball. Then I used it to soak our wedding rings they looked brand new & it also took off the caked on cement on my husbands ring.
There have also been a number of postings concerning what oils to use in a swimming pool. Let me tell you my awesome experence. My husband shock treated our pool, we have well water the water turned black as it has everytime in the past. So we decided to never do this again thinking that well water does not need to have whatever the shock treatment is to destroy. Anyhow this left a large dark ring around the top part of the pool. I got tired of looking at this & got my Theives cleaner & a sponge & with little to no scrubing the ring is gone & looks like new. I just used a dot full strenght on the sponge a few times since the water would get into my sponge & wash it away into the pool water. The pool after cleaning a 21X4 pool smelled so nicely of thieves. I thought I want to use this in this pool instead of the chemicals but wondered what the ratio should be. I added 2 more capfulls into the pool & myself & 2 sons swam for a bit & stired the thieves into the water. The pool STILL smelled of Theives & when we got out we felt so smooth & not wrinkly as usual.
The very most I could have used in the pool was 1/8 th of a cup for a 10,000 + gallon pool. I am so not educated in this pool care all I know is what happened to us. Someone more educated can maybe figure out for the rest of us ;) what the ratio maybe but I honestly believe thieves cleaner alone would keep a pool water clean & balance the PH. I just had to share this cause its so cool. I was thinking maybe a bottle per month put after leaving the pool I was thinking maybe less of this totally awesome product would be enuf. Id love it if others would experment as well & let the rest of us know what you have found.
