Snotty nose cleared up with Thyme!

I have had an amazing experience using Thyme. My 8 year old daughter got sick about 3 weeks ago with a cold and fever. That passed but left behind a yucky snotty nose.

She was completely stuffed up and had dark green, thick mucus, that she was having to blow constantly. In between blowings you could visibly see the mucus in her nose,lining the edges of the nostrils, etc. OK, get the picture? Anyone who is a parent can relate, I'm sure!

This has lingered for over 2 weeks and now I noticed she started to not 'feel' well in general, becoming lethargic and generaly grumpy. All the while conpletely stuffed up and the dark green nose gunk is not going away!

Well, I am very new to oils and don't have a lot to choose from. I don't even have the Desk Reference yet. But I knew something had to be done or else it was time to take her to a Dr. for a suspected infection.

I looked at the oils I did have and then read the breif bio on each one out of my product brochure. Among the few oils in my possesion I had a bottle of Thyme, which I believe, my mom left with me some time back. I've never used it until now. I decided to apply Thyme to her spine in the fashion of Raindrop Technique. I started with Valor and followed it with the Thyme. It was a bit 'hot' for her so I followed up with some olive oil from my cupboard (improvising here). Then I applied 2 drops of RC blend to her chest area.

Literally in less than 2 hours I realized that there was no green snot showing out of her nose! I asked her if she had been blowing her nose and with a bit of confusion replied, 'No'. By that afternoon she was breathing freely through her nasal passages and still no green gunk!

I did the treatment on her back and chest once more before she went to bed that night. It has been 2 days now and she is completely symptom free, not to mention feeling great. Incredible! I would have never thought it possible. If I ever doubted before I doubt no longer! Thanks Mom!
