Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Following the birth of my daughter, I was able to breast feed her for almost three months. My milk supply was low, and I tried several things to help it increase. I was told, by several health professionals, to use a hospital grade electric breast pump. With my low income, I was not able to afford renting one. A public assistance program disagreed with the suggestion, and helped me rent an electric pump.

I worked with a wonderful lactation consultant and drank Mother's Milk herb tea to promote healthy lactation. These were helpful, but my milk supply did not increase much.

I finally had to switch my baby to formula and have since learned more about formula. I was frustrated, discouraged, and sad that my body could not provide food for my baby.

While expecting my second child, I did not want to go through this frustration again. I researched and read as much as I could. Immediately following my sons delivery, I applied some Young Living essential oils to my breasts and feet. I call it my Lactation Combo (Geranium, Fennel, Sage, and the Joy blend).

I applied it several times a day for several weeks. My stress is considerably lower than when I tried breastfeeding my daughter. I also love the emotional support of my breastfeeding choice from my family. It was a wonderful experience breastfeeding my son for his first year of life!
