Stressed cat that would pull hair out

A 5 year old cat was pulling hair out. The cat was under stress of another cat in the household that was ill in which the cat was very attached to. The owner tried Feliaway with partial succcess but not total resolution. Owner was offered essential oil option to try. The use of Peace & Calming diluted and diffused into the environment and on the scratching post, toys, blankets, etc. allowed the cat to calm down to the point that the stressed induced hair pulling resolved. The owner upon discontuing the oil and only using feliaway noted the pulling of the hair to resume to former pre-oil level.
