Oils helped me with severe bruising/injury

I was working laying a flagstone path in my front yard when an extremely heavy one fell and hit my lower leg, right on the shin bone, about 2 inches above the ankle. I sat and watched as an intense red-purple bruise with abrasions shot to the surface....very severe bruising injury. I immediately put Release and myrrh on the spot, then alternated helichrysm, cypress and lavender about every hour until going to sleep. The area was quite swollen.

In the morning, 97% of the swelling was gone, and the bruise had receeded both in area, to the abraded area only, and intensity....it was more pink than red or purple. This was the kind of injury that would ordinarily take weeks of healing....going slowly from purple to yellow....etc. The main part of the healing occurred within a week. Also, though there was tenderness to touch, really no pain at all. Quite a wonderful experience with the oils for me.
