Headache and nausea

Late yesterday evening my son called stating that they were giving up on their pediatrician. My granddaughter was suffering with a severe headache and nausea and vomiting. The pediatrician they had seen earlier in the day stated she had a virus and nothing he could do to help her. He asked which of the oils that I had left with them at Thanksgiving last year would help her. I had left Peppermint, Lavender, Thieves and Geranium. I encouraged him to use Peppermint on her temples and the base of her skull for the headache and to rub peppermint over the bottom of her feet as added coverage for the headache and the nausea. To also use a drop of Peppermint in at least a quart of water to help soothe her stomach when she was able to drink again.

We had mixed the Thieves with olive oil in November and they had kept it refrigerated since then. I had them rub it down her spine to help diffuse her fever and prevent the virus from settling in her nerve roots along the spine.

I called them this morning to check on her. Within 10 minutes of their applying the peppermint and the Thieves oils she was fast asleep and slept the rest of the night. I encouraged them to continue using the oils on her until she was symptom free.

My daughter-in-law stated my son was now getting sick and she had 'oiled him up again' and sent him back to work!
