Peppermint for high fever and ironing

Last week my niece woke up with every symptom of the flu - headache, body ache, fever (around 101 degrees). As the day progressed, so did her fever. By 10:00 pm that evening, her fever had reached a wopping 104.5 degrees! Before rushing her off to the emergency room, her mom decided to mix a few drops of peppermint oil with water in a spritzer bottle (she couldn't find an empty bottle, so she used the one she usually reserves for spritzing ironing). She gently sprayed down her daughter (avoiding her face - concentrating on the body), and then monitored the fever over the next few hours. In just a few hours, her fever dropped down to normal (98 degrees). Her fever stayed down, and over the next day she continued to feel better! Amazing!

Also, my sister decided to keep the peppermint water to spritz her ironing, and loves the way it smells - clean and refreshing (says she doesn't mind ironing any more)!
