Sinus congestion and Eucalyptus Radiata

My husband got up after a restless night not being able to breath good. Said his sinuses were plugged up. I asked him did he want to try some oils? He said no. He wasn't getting any better, and finally consented to trying the oils. I looked up in the EODR under sinus congestion. One of the oils suggested was Eucalyptus Radiata. I diluted it 50/50 with a mixing oil and put it on his forhead, cheeks and throat, and put some on his hand to inhale. The next morning he told me he slept much better, and is now using the oil when ever he gets congested, and isn't using the over the counter sinus medicine anymore.
