Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My little boy gets big sore blisters on his lips every now and then, usually after an illness. When he woke up the other morning he complained that he thought he had bit his lip. It just barely had started.

I keep the diluted Thieves oil blend close by and use it on the kids for everything. I put a drop on his lip whenever he would complain it hurt. Not only did it control the pain involved, but in a couple of days the spot was completely dried up. There was barely any sign he had a cold sore. It never came to a head and just sort of melted.

In the past he would have suffered several days with an oozing sore, then have to wait more days for it to dry up. Even at five he knows that the oils work for him and will ask for them for various boo-boos. He constantly expresses his thankfulness that we have them.

He had his birthday the other day and wanted Thieves to flavor the frosting for his cake. We learned that one drop is plenty! Yummy!

There is nothing in the world like these essential oils. I know my family is in a happier place because of them.

Happy oiling!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: herpes,cold-sores-/-fever-blisters — "The presence of beta-caryophyllene in many essential oils might contribute strongly to their antiviral ability. These results indicate that phenylpropanoids and sesquiterpenes present in essential oils contribute to their antiviral activity against HSV [herpes simplex virus]."Link
2.Associated topics: food-/-cooking — "Z. officinale [ginger] has been used to control diabetes and dyslipidemia [high cholesterol].... The marked rise in body weights, glucose, insulin, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, free fatty acids and phospholipids in serum of the rats that followed 6 weeks of high-fat diet treatment were significantly reduced by Z. officinale treatment.... The present results provide scientific evidence to substantiate the traditional use of Z. officinale in preventing metabolic disorders."Link
3.Associated topics: herpes — "The patient was successfully treated with topical peppermint oil [for postherpetic neuralgia, a complication of shingles].... The authors believe this is the first evidence of peppermint oil (or menthol) having a strong analgesic effect on neuropathic pain."Link
4.Associated topics: herpes — "Essential oils from anise, hyssop, thyme, ginger, camomile and sandalwood were screened for their inhibitory effect against herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) [genital herpes]. A clearly dose-dependent virucidal activity against HSV-2 could be demonstrated for all essential oils tested. Chamomile oil exhibited a high selectivity index and seems to be a promising candidate for topical therapeutic application as virucidal agents for treatment of herpes genitalis."Link
