Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My 6 year old daughter had a badly perforated ear, hearing loss and needed a skin graft. Our Doctor told us it would not heal without surgery. As she was young he did allow us to wait a year before booking in for an operation. I hated the idea of her needing surgery so I started to look into which essential oils may be able to help with healing.

After some research and recommendations I chose the following blend of oils: Lavender, Frankincense, Ravintsara, Helichrysum, and Thieves. In a 10ml roller bottle I added 10 drops of each oil, except for Thieves which I used only 2 drops. I then filled the remainder of the bottle with Sweet Almond Oil.

Morning and night I rolled the oil all around the outside of her ear (never inside the ear). Sometimes we forgot and it was only used at night, but we were pretty regular with it.

Four months later she was due to see our ENT for a checkup and I was quite excited – I had read some more things about the oils and was really hopeful there would be an improvement.

My daughter sat down in the chair – the doctor put his scope thing in her ear and then said, "oh, hang on I’ve got the wrong side". I said, "no you haven’t" but he switched over and looked in her other ear anyway – no problems there. So he came back and had another close look at the bad ear, muttered to himself, went and checked his notes and came back and said, "I don’t believe it!".

Hah, the hole was completely gone! No sign of it whatsoever, not even any scarring! He checked her hearing – perfect hearing! And only 4 months of using the oils!

My husband and I were grinning from ear to ear. I knew from experience that the doctor would dismiss the oils, but I couldn’t help myself and told him what I had been doing. He just chuckled and said, "Well whatever you're doing it worked!"

So she has been given the all clear, the ENT doesn’t expect to see us again and she no longer has to wear earplugs or a swimming cap each summer. She also doesn’t have to sit in a particular position in class to hear her teacher.

Amazing! 🙂
