Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My feet were swelling, in late 2015, due to what I thought was my heart. However, it turned out to be a decrease in kidney function.

January 2016, I met with a doTERRA wellness advocate. She did a Zyto scan on me, using the Compass, and told me what oils I needed to use:

* Add a few drops of Lemon oil to my water daily
* Put Oregano in a roller bottle and rub on the bottom of my toes every morning and every night at bed time
* Use Aroma Touch on the back of my neck and the bottoms of my feet every morning and every night
* Use a drop of Ylang-Ylang over my heart every morning and every night

She told me that if I did not do this every morning and night then not even sign up. She said that consistency was the key. So, I gave her my word.

About 3 weeks after doing this, I happened to look down one night and saw that my feet and ankles were no longer swelling. And they haven't since then.

I was totally amazed and continue this remedy today with great success.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: edema-/-water-retention-/-dropsy,swelling-/-swollen-/-puffy — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases."Link
2.Associated topics: kidney-disease,kidneys — "Many plant extracts that protect against the development of oxidative stress manifest clear antilithiasic activity [preventing the formation of or relieving the symptoms of kidney stones].... Evidence obtained to date supports a contributory role of polyphenols [present in essential oils] in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, some cancer types, and osteoporosis.... The results show an improvement of the renal function in some treated groups with an increase of diuresis and creatinine excretion due to polyphenols pretreatment. Our results clearly validate the ability of polyphenols to protect against papillary calcification of kidney tissue, consequently preventing the development of papillary calculi [kidney stones].... The collective findings to date support a protective effect of polyphenols on kidney tissue. Thus, considering that injury of papillary tissue constitutes the first step in the development of COM papillary calculi, the antioxidant action of polyphenols may contribute significantly to their antilithiasic action."Link
