Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Over the years I have been suffering from pain that has been going down the sides of my knees.

Recently I was reading about Lemongrass oil and it mentioned, when applied neat, how it can ease knee pain. Well I did not believe this because I have always used warming oils such as Peppermint for pain.

Well, I happened to have Lemongrass on hand so I figure it couldn't hurt to try it. I applied 2 drops of Lemongrass neat on my right knee because that is the knee that hurt the worst.

Half way through my work day I only noticed the pain in my left knee. The Lemongrass worked! I did not start feeling the pain in my right knee again until 8 hours into my day and it was not near as bad as normal.

Thank you Lemongrass for proving me wrong!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: joints — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
