Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Five years ago, at the age of 35, I was diagnosed as being in active menopause. As is typical in modern medicine, I was prescribed synthetic hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to address the issue.

When I began using therapeutic-grade essential oil products last year, I started to really wonder if there might be a better way. I am still young and could very easily be on synthetic HRT for another 20 years, which is not something I was excited about.

The known side effects of synthetic HRT scared me, particularly the increased risk of cancer. I actually have a friend whose mother has breast cancer linked directly to synthetic HRT.

I began doing some research on switching from synthetic to natural HRT. Let me tell you, there is not a lot out there. I finally had to just come at it from the angle of what would be the best way to naturally replace the estrogen and progesterone that my body no longer produces.

I settled on Progessence Plus Serum, EndoFlex essential oil blend, and Fennel essential oil. I have now been doing this regimen for two months, and it has been a journey.

The first few weeks I had horrible hot flashes as my body was beginning to balance out. Things are much better now, and I have learned to keep Peppermint essential oil close at hand in case a hot flash pops up. It is a great cooling agent!

My system is still balancing and probably will be for a while, but overall I feel so much better. The peace of mind that comes from knowing that I am not putting harmful chemicals in my body is priceless.

One visible benefit is that the one stubborn hair that grew on my neck (ladies, you know what I am talking about) is gone! GONE! Gotta love it.

My current regimen:

* Progessence Plus Serum - 4 drops on the back of the neck twice a day.
* EndoFlex essential oil - 3 drops over the thyroid and adrenals twice a day.
* Fennel essential oil - 4 drops in a capsule once a day.

Because my body is still balancing, this regimen will likely change several times, but right now it is working for me.
