Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

We have three kids ages three and under, and life is busy! We realize that life is busy for everyone these days, but, between our day schedules and getting up with the kids at night, we have been wiped out during the day. Needless to say, my husband has been addicted to caffeine to keep him going.

Recently I started diffusing Peppermint essential oil to help pick me up. If I am really exhausted and foggy, I will diffuse Peppermint and Lemon essential oils together. Or I will put a drop of each oil in my hand, rub my hands together, cup my hands over my nose, and breathe the oils in slowly and deeply.

Lemon is so bright and refreshing, and Peppermint is so invigorating! (I also find Pine essential oil to be invigorating and refreshing.) These essential oils definitely help to enliven the senses. So, in an effort to energize in a healthier way, we have started leaning on essential oils instead of caffeine.

This method is really working! My husband now only carries a bottle of Peppermint oil with him and inhales throughout the day as needed when he is feeling really foggy or physically drained. No more caffeinated beverages!
