In 1995 I was involved in a five-car pileup. I was hit from behind and thrown into three other cars, which totaled my company minivan.

I was told that I had a C1/C2 fracture and would never walk again. I spent three and a half years in intense physical therapy and was basically bed bound for five years.

I spun into severe depression due to living in chronic pain and losing my ability to function. My pain management team got me addicted to 320 mg of Oxycontin, along with thirteen other medications. I was in a drug-induced haze for twenty years.

My body was slowly and surely shutting down. I developed fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, arthritis, chronic fatigue, neuropathy, spastic colon, colitis, ulcers, migraines... basically just total body dysfunction.

Little did I know that, as an ex-pharmaceutical rep, my own industry was killing me. Our bodies cannot recognize synthetic drugs, so instead they wall it off into fat storage. I went from a size 8 to a size 24... basically 267 pounds of dysfunction.

I started researching why I was so sick. I began to totally change my diet to strictly organic, and I detoxified and replaced medications with essential oils. It took me a while to slowly titrate down my medications, but today I am two years medication free.

I have lost 110 pounds, and I went from a size 24 to a size 6. I also run or walk 2.5 miles daily. If you rid your body of chemicals and feed it true nutrients, incorporating organic food, spices, essential oils, and supplements, the body can restore itself.

In my recovery, pain was the biggest issue. Ingesting 20 drops of Copaiba essential oil daily gave me control over the inflammatory component of the fibromyalgia. A combination of PanAway, Lavender, and Peppermint essential oils topically applied or even administered in hot epsom salt baths was a saving grace from God.

I supplemented with NingXia Red juice, NingXia Nitro, MindWise, and Progessence Plus Serum to address recovery issues in my mind and body. NingXia Red was a complete game changer for me. Who knew that most of my issues were from being nutritionally deficient?

The best thing that I have ever done was to go all natural in all aspects of my life. I took control of my own health care. There is so much freedom in taking control of your health. Never again will I rely on conventional means. Nothing synthetic will ever go into my body again.

These essential oil products have given me my life back through the saving grace of my Heavenly Father. I am just a little passionate about having my quality of life back. Once you lose your health, you will never take it for granted again. Health is an investment and one to which I make daily deposits.
