Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

I think my boyfriend is intolerant to dairy. Sometimes when eating anything with dairy, his stomach will cramp and bloat. He will also find himself running to the bathroom. But he will not give up the dairy!

He is very open to therapeutic-grade essential oils, so we have made a compromise. He eats dairy, and then I get to apply DiGize essential oil blend if he experiences issues.

He prefers it to be applied topically. So if he begins to feel any cramping or bloating, we will start with 2 drops of DiGize with a small amount of carrier oil. We rub that over his stomach/abdomen and up his breastbone.

He will usually feel relief within a few minutes. DiGize has been a lifesaver; we don't go anywhere without it.

Additional keyword(s) assigned by the editor: intolerance, lactase, hypolactasia, lactose, casein, bloating.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1."[T]he biological activity of 20 essential oils (EOs) from herbal plants and citrus fruits were investigated in terms of mammalian DNA polymerase (pol) inhibitory activity, cancer cell (human colon carcinoma) growth inhibitory activity, antiallergic activity... in rat basophilic leukemia cells, and antioxidant activity.... Among these EOs, chamomile... showed significant effects on both cancer cell growth and mast cell degranulation. On the basis of these results, chamomile EO can be recommended as a potentially useful, bioactive candidate for therapeutic applications."Link
2."[L]avender oil inhibits immediate-type allergic reactions [anaphylaxis] by inhibition of mast cell degranulation in-vivo and in-vitro."Link
3."A 4 weeks treatment with peppermint oil improves abdominal symptoms in patients with irritable bowel syndrome.... The symptoms evaluated were: abdominal bloating, abdominal pain or discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, feeling of incomplete evacuation, pain at defecation, passage of gas or mucus, and urgency at defecation."Link
