Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

My daughter started showing signs of eczema on her hands at night. The skin on her knuckles was dry, crackly, and darkened on both hands. She had eczema when she was very young, as well as asthma, but we have overcome much of that with essential oils since.

Recently, with it showing up again, I was concerned. I applied Purification essential oil blend to her hands and right rib (liver point) nightly. I had her stop using lotion (Bath & Body Works brand) and got her back on coconut oil lotion at night.

Her eczema diminished significantly with the Purification oil application, but it would come back as soon as she started "cheating" and using the fragranced Bath & Body Works lotion again.

I applied the Purification again (about 3 drops total, undiluted) nightly and got her to use the coconut-based lotion that is fragranced with Lavender essential oil. Now after she has switched to her natural lotion, we have stopped using Purification, and she is eczema-free once again.

1."Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
