Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
My husband came down with a nasty cold and passed it along to me. We have both been achy with lots of head congestion, some chills, and coughing with a sore chest. We have just generally been feeling groggy and horrible.
On day 2 (today) I was beginning to wonder if we had the flu. This afternoon I thought about using some essential oils and looked on Oil-Testimonials.com for recommendations.
I put Thieves essential oil blend on my feet and also inhaled it deeply from my hands. Then I put RC essential oil blend on my chest.
I really cannot believe it, but within 5 minutes I was feeling much better. I still have a cold, but I do not feel so achy and groggy. I can also breathe better, and the chills are gone so far.
I plan to continue Thieves on my feet and alternate RC and Raven essential oil blends on my chest and back. I also have Thieves in my diffuser. I am so happy to be feeling a bit better already!

|Supporting Scientific Studies|
|1.||"Taken together, we found an essential oil blend [Orange, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary (most components of Thieves blend)] notably attenuates influenza virus PR8 infection in vitro via inhibition of viral protein synthesis at the post-transcription level. The lack of toxicity and potent specific inhibition ability make the essential oil a possible antiviral drug for influenza virus proliferation control and treatment."||Link|
|2.||"The result for the primary end point was validated by the amelioration of the following secondary end points: headache on bending, frontal headache, sensitivity of pressure points of trigeminal nerve, impairment of general condition, nasal obstruction, and rhinological secretion.... In patients with acute nonpurulent rhinosinusitis, timely treatment with cineole [a.k.a. eucalyptol... found in eucalyptus, camphor laurel, laurus nobilis, tea tree, mugwort, basil, wormwood, rosemary, sage, and cannabis] is effective and safe before antibiotics are indicated."||Link|
|3.||"In confirming the presence of peripheral airways dysfunction in nonsmokers with uncomplicated common colds, our data imply that the changes can be modified favorably by short-term aromatics inhalation."||Link|
|4.||"Cineole has mucolytic, bronchodilating and anti-inflammatory properties and reduces the exacerbation rate in patients suffering from COPD, as well as ameliorates symptoms in patients suffering from asthma and rhinosinusitis.... The effects of Cineole in the treatment of acute bronchitis were clearly measurable and could be proven after a treatment period of merely 4 days. This study corroborates the fact that Cineole actively and significantly reduces cough frequency after four days."||Link|
