Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

Recently, I had injured my shoulder, however, the worst part was the pain from what I assume to be a pinched nerve because the pain would shoot through my shoulder and down both arms. If I could lie in a certain way I could get relieve, but standing was unbearable. From all our former experiences with sports injuries, I chose not to go to the doctor because I would only be reaffirming what I already knew I needed to do.

So the first thing I think about is that with injury there is always inflammation. If I take something for the pain, it will cover the symptoms, but I want to do something to help accelerate the healing. So I used Idaho Balsam Fir and PanAway essential oils which both have properties to help with inflammation and I used Prenolone Cream (contains pregnenolone), another tool with anti-inflammatory properties. (I would have preferred Neurogen in this case for the nerve issue, but I had given my bottle to someone else.) My husband and I always have handy Regenolone or Prenolone for sports injuries because of the results we have gotten. Both have MSM, an organic sulfur combination which is helpful for pain.

The second thing I do is ask myself, "How can I help my body regenerate or help that area?" Rest, of course, and so the first day I stayed flat and applied a lot of the oils and Prenolone cream. From my past experiences, I noticed sometimes the oil/cream combination will dull the pain quite quickly and other times it takes longer. So be persistent. (You sometimes have to interchange oils to see which combination works depending on if it is muscle pain, bone pain, inflammation pain, whatever. There is a very effective recipe for inflammation if you need additional relief in the essential oils reference book under inflammation that we have used with our son that was very effective for a bad ankle injury.

I also took extra NingXia Red since my body was under stress and took PD 80/20 (pregnenolone and DHEA capsule), and Exodus II capsules. The pain was intense enough where I would feel nauseated momentarily, so I knew my body needed extra assistance. The second day I could be up for short periods, but would need to lie flat on and off throughout the day. I kept up my regiment. The third day I was walking around carefully. The next day I felt like myself. I am always grateful that I have great "tools" to help our bodies jump back so quickly.
