Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
I am new to essential oils and was super excited when my Premium Starter Kit came in the mail. I have not had a stye (sty) in years, but I ended up getting one a day or two after my kit arrived. Perfect timing, right? Always on the lookout for situations where I could use my new essential oils, I thought this would be a great opportunity to test them out and see them work for myself.
After some research, I learned that many people use Frankincense and Lavender essential oils for eye styes, so I gave that combo a try first. I was not feeling or seeing any obvious results. I think I applied the oils every few hours or so by placing a drop of each oil in the palm of my hand and then applying with one finger on the eyelid and all around my eye.
Since that was not working, I was a little discouraged but read somewhere that essential oils can work differently for different people. So I decided to give Purification essential oil blend a try by placing a drop of oil in the palm of my hand, using a finger to apply on my eyelid and around my eye, and then cupping my hands over my eye and mouth and blinking my eye while breathing out deeply.
Wow, what a difference! Within minutes of my first application of Purification essential oil blend, the aching on my eyelid was gone! I continued to do this whenever I started to feel the discomfort return to my eyelid.
Now I will admit that there were a couple times that I got a little too close to my actual eyeball, and there was quite the burning sensation. But I just let my eye water, and after a couple of minutes I could literally feel not only the burning sensation but the aching from the stye just lift.
I love these essential oils!
