I wanted to put this out there... as (outside scientific studies) I could find no information at all on the Internet about this.
My daughter had a BOTOX injection (a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum) between her eyes in a wrinkle. Two weeks later she happened to put a few drops of Thieves essential oil blend on her scalp (rather than using the Melaleuca essential oil that she usually uses).
The next day she developed a large welt across her forehead. The welt was hot to the touch, and the doctor did not feel it was caused by the BOTOX injection itself (not to mention that it was two weeks post injection).
We believe that the Thieves essential oil blend was doing exactly what it was designed to do... to kill the botulinum toxin. Amazing!
