Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
With cold and flu season upon us, I wanted to cleanse my house. I diffused about 15 drops of Cinnamon Bark essential oil through a Well & Jet Diffuser (a nebulizing diffuser that puts only essential oil into the air... no water). I ran it for about 4 hours.
The air afterwards smelled and felt clean, and I could breathe better as well. Since I wanted to kill as many germs as possible, I was willing to tolerate a strong fragrance as Cinnamon Bark has, but it was not as overpowering as I thought it would be. I was very pleasantly surprised, actually.
But with the house going to be getting dry due to the heat running this winter, I will be using an ionizing diffuser instead, one in which you put water and essential oils and then vaporize them into the air. That way I can humidify as well as cleanse the air!
