I have an exciting equine testimony!
One of my horses has been lying down a lot since early this morning. The first time that I checked on George, he got up; but anytime I went near his belly, he turned like he was fixing to kick me. In horse language this means, "My belly is hurting; don't touch."
Signs of colic are lying down, rolling, and no gurgling in the belly. However, George was not rolling, and his belly was gurgling. So I thought that maybe he had some gas issues going on.
I checked on George several more times, and the last time I noticed that he was lying down again. Then I got out the book "Everyday Essential Oils For Horses", and it said to use DiGize and Peppermint essential oils.
So I cut an apple, burrowed out a little area, and put 4 drops each in it. I gave it to George, and five minutes later he pooped! That was a huge relief for me and him.
So I just wanted to share how amazing these essential oils are for not only us but our pets too!
