Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

A little bit of a testimony about Ortho Ease Massage Oil for joint pain:

I have a 10 1/2-year-old daughter who has a connective tissue disorder. Long story short... it can wreak havoc on your body! This condition causes hypermobility and early onset of osteoarthritis.

My daughter, almost since birth, has taken Tylenol and anti-inflammatory medications. Nothing has worked, and it was time to stop!

I was introduced to Young Living essential oils almost 3 months ago now by a dear friend. I must admit that I was a skeptic! However, I bought the kit and tried Thieves, Peace & Calming, and PanAway on myself, as I am 53 with osteoarthritis in my lower back.

However, that is NOT why I purchased the kit. I bought the kit and eventually the Ortho Ease Massage Oil because my daughter said that it helped her. She says, "I love the smell, and I love the way it feels on my painful areas!"

After being overactive in a day, my daughter can just be walking around in the mall, and she will be in constant pain. Imagine being in pain at almost 11 years old and having no relief!

Well, now that we have Ortho Ease Massage Oil, we do not have to worry about it as much anymore. After having an overactive day, my daughter comes home and asks for Ortho Ease Massage Oil!

I am happy that it helps her, and I kind of like my essential oils too! Sorry for the long post, but felt I needed to share.

3.Associated topics: autoimmune — "Immunomodulatory activity of frankincense oil: Biologically, the oil exhibited a strong immunostimulant activity (90% lymphocyte transformation) when assessed by a lymphocyte proliferation assay."Link
4.Associated topics: arthritis — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
5.Associated topics: arthritis — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
6.Associated topics: autoimmune — "Anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antimicrobial, antioxidant, carminative [flatulence] and immunomodulatory properties of caraway suggest that it might exert beneficial effects on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).... CHE and CEO [caraway essential oil] at all doses tested were effective in reducing colon tissue lesions and colitis indices and the efficacy was nearly the same when different doses of plant fractions were administered p.o. or i.p..... These data suggest that caraway fractions are both effective and possess anti-colitic activity irrespective of the dose and route of administration."Link
7.Associated topics: autoimmune — "Pycnogenol [French maritime pine bark extract] could be useful for second-line therapy to reduce the inflammatory feature of SLE [systemic lupus erythematosus]."Link
8.Associated topics: autoimmune — "These results suggest that the volatile oil of ginger influences both cell-mediated immune response and nonspecific proliferation of T lymphocyte, and may exert beneficial effects in a number of clinical conditions, such as chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases."Link
